A Course in Miracles by Helen Schucman is a well-known book from the early 1970s. The basic premise is that love is the source of all happiness and that through the process of loving others and experiencing the miracle of unconditional love in one's life, one will achieve the peace of mind that will enable them to experience the miracles of happiness and joy. Schucman claims that the book was dictated to her by Jesus. According to the bible, Jesus was a loving individual, so it is reasonable to expect that he would have left instructions on how to live a life of unconditional love. The course in miracles was designed to assist a person who has had an experience of unconditional love, so that they may follow his path and experience the miracles of joy and happiness.
Most people who have had the experience of unconditional love in their lives' claim that they were able to experience the miracle of healing or physical growth from such a connection to God. The teachings in the Soundcloud a course in miracles are based on the belief that when the person has experienced the miracle of healing, their mind becomes so connected to God that they can experience a miracle.
The teachings are based on the teaching that if there is anything that has not happened for at least twenty-four hours then it cannot be considered a miracle. This does not mean that when a miracle happens, the person cannot experience it again for twenty-four hours or more. However, the course in miracles is meant to teach the person who is receiving the course of miracles to allow the miracle to continue to flow throughout the twenty-four hours.
The course is divided into three parts and the first part teaches the person about the miracles that they should expect in their life when they continue to live a life of unconditional love. The second part teaches the person how to use this awareness to experience the miracles. The third part teaches the person how to practice the miracles and use them in their daily lives. The course encourages the person to experience all of the miracles in their life so that they can realize the true nature of God and become a part of God's plan for their life.
Some people have said that this is just another form of "cults" by Christian Fundamentalists and other religious groups who want to keep the Christian faith strong and alive. The Course in Miracles has received many complaints from Christian churches that they feel the course is not Christian in its nature. or that they feel that the concepts taught in the course are contradictory to their beliefs. It is important to note that it is possible for any person to learn about the different aspects of God's plan for one's life without having to become a member of a church or a specific religion.
Courses in miracles are not for everyone, however, there is no way to know whether or not a person will be successful or not without having the experience. When someone is looking to learn more about this type of teaching they should consider the experiences and teachings in the Course in Miracles.
