Julia Rhee is a first-generation movement builder and has been training students in the field for seven years. She is a graduate of the Eugene Lang College of the New School and the YP4 Leadership Academy. She currently works as a youth organizer with the nonprofit organization Green for All in Oakland, California. Her expertise in investment and risk management makes her an ideal candidate to lead the company. Her extensive experience as a corporate executive, and her knowledge of cultural issues, allow her to navigate the complex world of capital strategy and investment finance. However, this doesn't mean that she's better than others in this area. In fact, she doesn't know much about capital strategy, and she doesn't need to. This is why she has the advantage over other leaders in the tech space.
The program begins with interviews with two co-founders of the non-profit Retrofit Republic. They have created a new model for fashion, challenging the style culture and the fashion industry. Then, Lisa Lee and R.J. Lozada speak with Lisa Lee and Lynn Chen of Thick Dumpling Skin, a community for people struggling with eating disorders. She also interviews a musician who has devoted herself to the field.
Besides being a passionate advocate for a healthier lifestyle, Julia Rhee has also taken the initiative to make life easier for those who struggle with anorexia. She has helped countless people with their eating disorder by organizing bake sales to support LaAmistad, a nonprofit that mentors young Navajo men and women. Similarly, she is the founder of Double Play Atlanta. She is planning to attend Stanford University, majoring in symbolic systems.
